Nice, early 50 count wooden cigar box for Alexander Gordon Co.'s (Detroit, MI) “Gordon's Cats” brand cigars, featuring wonderful, colorful and highly graphic stone lithographed labels on inside and right outer side edge of box. Labels have strong colors and display quite nicely, although there is some general age toned darkening / yellowing and light staining in background areas (Inside label C. C. 7.5+; outer box label C. 8). Wooden box has some general aged darkening to outer box w/ several small, scattered nail holes on front band back edge and some typical warping to top front edge of lid (Series 1883 Tax Stamp).

Lot includes two different vintage tin litho oval Coca-Cola tip trays. Girl in pink dress features Co.'s 1914 calendar girl Betty and is clean, bright and very attractive (displays as a strong C. 8/+), w/ light crazing and a couple non-offensive faint dents. Girl in yellow dress features Co.'s 1916 calendar girl “Elaine”. This one has strong colors and displays well (basically a strong C. 8/+ appearance), although close examination will show a few dents and some slight haziness on surface if tipped just right, w/ some oxidizing on non-graphic backside (critical grade on this one C. 7.5/+), although it displays much nicer than this implies.

Nice, early tin litho 1 lb. peanut butter pail featuring famous silent film era child actor Jackie Coogan eating sandwich on front, w/ multiple scenes of him all around the backside (where he costarred as "The Kid" in Charlie Chaplin silent era movie classic by that name). Has strong colors and displays quite nicely (C. 8+/-) w/ a little light background wear from use and includes its original embossed lid. Note: in later life, Coogan went on to play the Uncle Fester character in the Adams Family show.
