Beautiful 1920's hand-painted illustration art advertising painting created by Erie Litho & Printing Co. (Erie, PA) on cardboard art board for use in making a Pointer Overalls Co. advertising sign. Impressive, very high quality piece, w/ beautiful colors and detailing. Excellent condition (a strong C. 8++), w/ original Co. label on backside. Lot includes original black and white photo of the bird dog the artist was inspired by.
