Beautiful, early lithographed cardboard sign for American Tobacco Co.'s Union Leader brand tobacco in its original wood frame, featuring wonderful image of Uncle Sam and his battle ships. Has bright vivid colors and displays nicely (basically a strong C. 8/+), w/ a little non-offensive minor soiling and slight background rubs and wear, including some stains in very outer white border / margin area (marked w/ 1899 copyright).
