Very early (dated 1887) figural tin litho hinged lid advertising match holder for Mutual Life Insurance Co., in shape of Co.’s headquarters building, w/ fine early Gina type lithography (not marked). Lithography is clean and attractive in appearance (basically a C. 8+/-), w/ exception of some expected light oxidizing across raised circular match scratching area on non-graphic side edge.
