Important, early, extremely rare vertical tobacco pocket tin for Ty Cobb brand cut plug tobacco, w/ strong colors and a great overall look (same image both sides). Backside rates a strong (C. 8.5/+) appearance, w/ only very minor wear. Front side displays pretty nicely on shelf, although it has fair amount of general overall denting w/ litho wear / loss area along outer right side edge in area where tax stamp once sat (this side displays pretty well when viewed straight on, but dents are pretty noticeable when tipped or viewed from a side angle), w/ general oxidized darkened loss to gold flash finish on lid.
