Important, very early wooden 50 count cigar box for "Our Nine" brand, featuring stunning multicolor graphic image of pre glove era baseball action scene on inside and outer side labels by George S. Harris & Sons Lithographers (Philadelphia, PA), w/ Act of 1883 tax stamp. Inside label image is clean, bright and very attractive (a strong C. 8+), w/ some non-offensive toning / slight staining at outside edges of white border area (outer label has typical expected age tone darkening and soiling). Outer box is quite nice, w/ some typical light warping to lid and some scattered chipping and wear to tax stamp.
