Neat and unusual, early, heavy figural cast iron ark shaped advertising clock promoting Co.’s 1928 movie "Noah’s Ark". Starred actors Dolores Costello (shown on clock face - which runs briefly when rocked) & George O’ Brien. Very high quality piece, made by Art Metal Works, has nice detailing and an excellent, rich, all original surface patina (a strong C. 8.5/+), Note: this high budget movie was from the part-talkie transition era between the early silent era movies and talkies and used the Co.’s newly developed Vitaphone sound-on-disk system.
