Vintage ca. 1938 glass Planters Peanut Co. streamline clipper jar, complete w/ embossed lettering on front, w/ its early cello labels on three sides and attractive, graphic lithographed tin lid. Jar and lid are excellent, as found still in its original box (C. 8.5++), w/ very minor flea bite on lip (stated for accuracy, so minor barely merits mention); w/ a little light general soiling and wear to box.

Close examination will show faint, lightly worn remnants of its original R & M Co. stamping at bottom edge (R & M Co. was a Canadian porcelain sign maker).
